Welcome to Isaiah T. Creswell Middle Arts Magnet School

Isaiah T. Creswell Arts Magnet Middle School is unique in being the only arts magnet middle school in the Metropolitan Nashville Public School system. The School is located off Clarksville Highway in the Bordeaux area of North Nashville just North of the Cumberland River. I.T Creswell is within a short driving distance of Metro Center, Fisk University, Tennessee State University, Meharry Medical College and Metro General Hospital.

Opened in Fall 2006, the new facility, serves a diverse population of middle-school aged students from across Nashville, including many of the rising 5-8 students who will go on to attend Nashville School of the Arts for High School.

Mission Statement: The mission of Isaiah T. Creswell Arts Magnet Middle School is to provide the highest  quality instruction in the Fine and Performing Arts while promoting mastery of academic standards at or above the national norm.

Vision Statement: Our vision is to become the top-performing magnet school in Tennessee.
