Isaiah T. Creswell is a thematic magnet school located in the heart of historic Bordeaux. Our theme is the arts and our curriculum is built around the expressions of ideas in words, music and art. There is no entrance qualification for our school. Students just have to express a desire to participate in this arts based program by submitting an application for the lottery selection process.

Creswell Arts Magnet (formally Wharton Arts Magnet) offers an opportunity to explore, enhance, and showcase the many talents of students. Some of the specialty arts areas include: vocal, dance, visual arts, band, strings, as well as a rigorous academic curriculum. All students participate in two arts classes, which might include readers theater, speech, photography, playwriting, musical theater, art appreciation, keyboarding, music appreciation, or paintworks. In addition some students have the opportunity to take a third arts class.
